but if what you want is a VST that plays drums realistically on your electronic drumkit, and gives you the kind of versatility you could otherwise only get with alot of great equipment in a professional studio, then Superior drummer is definitely the way to go imo.
I'm not sure how it fares in the midi department, i'd assume pretty damn good. addictive drums looks pretty good as well. On my research also BFD seems to be the main rival for Superior drummer. It's made by toontrack just like EZDrummer is. to me, what's great about it, is all the mics and stuff you can change, the versatility seems to be astounding. I think i agree with CJaysMusic I don't own any yet, and i haven't tried them all but so far, it looks to me like Superior drummer is the best you can get.Īlthough to make use of why it's better is more complicated than other kits.
